A variety of accommodations are available within the Sea Pines Resort. Views can include oceanfront, ocean view, golf views, lagoon views and landscape views. This house is very comfortable with a great layout. It is very close to the beach and easy to ride a bike to Harbortown. Both times the pool heat did not work, which was a great disappointment, particularly since we have a child with autism who loves to swim. We did not get the greatest service to solve the pool problem, although our payments for pool heat were refunded.

House is very clean, well appointed, and in a great location. Walk to beach isn’t far, pool in backyard is wonderful. Biked to Harbortown multiple times, Lawton Stables, South Beach Marina... We are glad you enjoyed your vacation at 157 N Sea Pines. Just to clarify, using the golf cart path is allowed, but golfers have the right of way.

Adult entertainment can be enjoyed at the Sea Pines Beach Club. The Sea Pines Resort is one of the first planned communities in the United States. In 1957 Charles Fraser had the foresight to develop a resort on Hilton Head Island that would blend into the environment rather than stand out.
If you rent a house with a heated pool, the pool should be warm enough to swim in. It was not unless the outside temp was above 72...should have told us that up front. This home also features 2 laundry rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, making this home perfect for an extended family.

Pool was perfect size and depth, and a great place to hang out and cool off during the hot afternoons. Ping pong in the garage, basketball hoop in the driveway. Would definitely recommend bike rentals and exploring the area-bike paths are everywhere, scenic and safe. This spacious and luxurious home is perfect for a family gathering or a golf group. With two living areas, a private pool, large yard, and fishing available from the lagoon, this home has many options for living and entertaining, including a basketball hoop in the driveway and table tennis in the garage.
This unique design, described as the 'Sea Pines Style' or 'Lowcountry Architecture' was defined by large overhangs, low roof slopes, 'natural' colors on the houses that blended into the background and native plantings. He and his cohorts developed 'T-Streets' with houses along the oceanfront and subsequent rows of homes set back from the ocean. Sea Pines is the largest of the gated communities on Hilton Head Island and can be entered by the main gate off of Greenwood Drive or the Ocean Gate that is found at the end of South Forest Beach. This home is conveniently located on North Sea Pines Drive with views of the 17th Tee of the Atlantic Dunes golf course from the back yard.This home features a short and scenic walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. It's just a short walk or bike ride to the Plantation Golf Club as well as the Sea Pines Beach Club, with a path to the beach starting right in your back yard. It is also located an equal distance to both Harbour Town and the South Beach Marina and the Salty Dog, putting you in the middle of everything that the Sea Pines Resort has to offer.
The pool area can be accessed through sliding doors from this room as well. The 3rd guest bedroom, which features two full-size beds, is located on this level as well. The 3rd bathroom with a walk-in shower can be accessed from the hall or bedroom as well. Just off the living area, you’ll find a desk area for those who need to work while they play. This spacious room offers a king bed, flat-screen TV and access to a private balcony with two Adirondack chairs. The private en-suite features an oversized dual vanity, soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
One note - the beach access involves walking on the golf cart path. I assume this is allowed, but it surprised me and makes it tricky to bike. But the walk is easy and the closest stretch of beach is very uncrowded / quiet which we loved. I do wish we had brought a cart for lugging our stuff.
